DIGGIN' CHICAGO! - WINDY CITY CRATES (Pt. 1 of....)

It's no secret that tons of amazing music has been made in Chicago. The Windy City has produced some of the greatest Blues, R & B and Soul, Funk and Disco records of all time. With that in mind, each week I'll post a lost gem recorded right here in Chi-town. But for the first post, I thought I'd go a little left field and drop a little Latin (!?) flavor, Chicago style ... Los Aristocratas de Chicago (The Chicago Aristocrats) were a Mexican band formed in the mid-70s in Chicago. The band's excellent taste in formal wear is matched musically with a tasty (saboroso!) cover of Ray Baretto's 'Cocinando'. Lovin' the powder blue tuxedos, fellas!
